Since 2002 E.ON D-Gas Storage has been successfully marketing Flexibility Services in the Dutch Market. The first phase was brought on stream in October 2003. Additional phases were made operational in September 2005 and in April 2006.
The E.ON D-Gas storage caverns and the ancillary equipment are designed for high deliverability and injection rates as well as high operational flexibility. The facility is also geared to handle very low flow rates and allows E.ON D-Gas to offer Flexibility Services to interested parties operating in both the retail and wholesales markets as well as in the trading market.
